The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
